Love it! As a founder, I'm curious when I would need to start doing this, and when the costs start rly building up. Is it when you make the Nth firing decision, or have a huge accident (like the Crowdstrike one) with your product? In some senses, it feels like monitoring in the cybersecurity space - you pay for all these things to make sure you're NOT the victim of an exploit.
Kai - great questions. It sounds cliche, but I would definitely suggest starting as early as possible. A simple weekly screen on all of the key areas is enough to keep you in check (it should take 30 minutes or less), but failing to do so can result in many issues. Some of the most common ones:
-Low score on Glassdoor can result in prospective employees deciding to go elsewhere.
-Low Google My Business score communicates to prospects your product or service isn't very good and communicates to prospective employees that you don't take yourself seriously.
-Lots of negative unanswered comments on social media can lead others to believe you have poor customer service or poor ops (i.e. this is reflecting badly on your brand but you're not organized enough to address it quickly).
While the reputational hit may be more damaging for large brands, a weak reputation can prevent small brands from scaling or building something big.
